To Annie: Try gymnema sylvestre with chromium and cinnamon bark. This is a common formulation with a few other things. I use it instead of Metformin. It works well to lower blood sugar. But I still have to stick to a low glycemic diet to keep my glucose under 100 at all times.

That is wonderful. I too would love to reverse my diabetes. I have used Metformin for a year now and wonder what side effects you experienced. I want to wean myself off this rx and wonder if you would share with me what worked for you. thanks. Annie
