Are there certain foods that should be avoided when one has been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism? I was reading an article that talked a little about this, but it didn't really specify which foods should be avoided. I would love to learn more about this and/or hear from others what has worked for them. Blessings, Liz

I haven't been able to reduce or get off prescription drugs for hyperthroidism. But I think I'm controling it from getting worse by keeping to a healthy diet, excerise and I take kelp. It would be interesting to see if anyone has ever gone off synthroid and has success with natural ways.
