Hello,
I've just joined and don't see a question of the nature I have in mind, so I hope you don't mind me asking. If there's a place to find information on this, please direct me there.
I've been type 1 for the past 63 of my 67 years... So far, no serious complications and while my A1C's aren't exactly what the ADA recommends, they're reasonably close. My Dr.s tell me to keep doing what I'm doing, which is basically adjusting my R insulin up by 1 unit for every 10 points of BG meter reading above 100; e.g., if my meter reading is 157, I adjust my normal 20 unit dose by 6 units for a total of 26 units. This formula has worked fairly well for many, many years. I'm also in the 3% of insulin takers that fall into the "Hypo-unaware" gap the pharmaceutical companies (Lilly & Novo) dismissed in their "Fast-Track" application for the FDA. Enough about me....
My question is: After 63 years, I presume the beta cells in my pancreas are dead. So, has anyone with type 1 been able to reverse their diabetes using the Diabetes Reversal Kit?
Thanks for your advice.
Lee
