My wife and I were diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetics some 15 years ago, as I recall. Since then, we have travelled the gauntlet of drugs and treatments, with little positive results to report. If fact, my wife is now on three types of insulin several times per day -- morning and evening, and before every meal.
Although I have resisted the drug approach, I now take Januvia once per day, which only works satisfactorily when used along with two herbal preparations = GlucoComplete, a promising new remedy by Dr. David Williams available on-line via DrDavidWilliams.com; and Combetic, a wonderful Chinese remedy available on-line via ThirdDayResources.com. These two herbal preparations work well enough by themselves, but hidden sugars in foods (or falling off the wagon!) cause scary blood sugar spikes- - - hence the need for Januvia.
We will be trying Barton's Natural Health approaches, and will keep all of you posted on the benefits that we experience.
Good health to all of you!
Hi all,
I've been diabetic for 10 years and am skinny. Always have been. Despite everything my sugar levels are high. I'm prone to stress which cranks up the sugar. But I exercise. LAtely I've been doing resistance training for 10n mins a day. Not much you say, well doing push ups or squeezing squats make my heart really beat, and to do that for 10mins really burns sugar. All the muscles are working overtime. I know exercise works but usually I'm just to lazy to do much of it. Even 20min on a bike can sometimes seem like a too high mountain, so 10 mins seems about right for me.
I'm also about to have another crack at the low carb & supplement thing from Barton's. The coconut oil idea is really the only new idea i've not tried. But the overall plan and motivational tools have got me going. Should be a hoot. Stay tuned.
Paul
My wife had sugars that were high and was considering going on insulin, she has been using homeopathy for both support and constitutionally and now her sugars are getting into normal ranges and her energy is way up as well as the pain she used to have is almost completely gone.
