First of all, hello to you all!
I am a diabetic, was diagnosed accidentally nearly 4 years ago. I am impatient, thus I want to complete the course in less than 4 weeks.
I have a first question. What is the ratio between mg/l and mmol/dl? This latter is used in both countries I live; the UK and Hungary.

Hello, I was looking up the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin that was just prescribed to me for a U.T.I. Scary stuff!!! Is there an alternative and can a person w/many other health problems claim relief from these dreaded urinary tract infections?
I hope and pray this isn't another scheme! Bless you

My interest in natural health has been gradual, motivated in part by refusing to believe drug dependency is an option for healthy living. There has got to be something more! Most recently I am up on a quest to help my father, who has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, to live a life full of longevity, keep his faculties for as long as he can, stay strong and to do so with God's help (not just the doctors and medicine).

Hi, my name is Chris, and I am new to this forum. I have been researching all kinds of health related issues for many years now. The one thing I can honestly say is that due dillengence on your part to learn everything you can will definitly pay off!
I submitted a couple of minor things already regarding one report. I was not aware of the various "groups" yet, so did not join that specific group (diabetic). I will always keep the comments positive and welcome any and all feedback. Mostly, I just toss out some thoughts, and leave the reader to follow-up on the research. I am happy to provide my sources, links, or documents to whomever asks!

I have recently had a high glucouse reading on my lab work....214.
I have been testing on a regular basis trying to bring the numbers into the normal range by changing my diet.
I don't want to go on meds for this and doing as much research as I can. So I am here to gain knowledge.

hi all,
I just discovered this site while searching for remedies to treat my Hypothyroidism (Grave's Disease). I've dealt with this disease for 4 years now and the doctors only run me around in circles with no beneficial results & I'm done jumping through the same hoops with no positive results... now I'm going to alternative treatments to see if I can beat this. Please, please, please, any & all information is deeply appreciated

Hello to all diabetic correspondents. I have had diabetes type 2 for many years and am mounting an effort at eliminating it or at least getting it under control. I appreciate the comments that you are adding to the collection and am looking forward to learning more. I am retired, 86 years old, enjoying life to a great extent, looking forward to "curing" the health problems that I have: diabetes, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, atrial fibrillation on occasion. Other than that, life is wonderful.
